Arbaeen philosophy

Arbaeen philosophy Arbaeen Pilgrimage is one of the most magnificent and passionate Shia religious rituals. A pilgrimage in which the most beautiful manifestations of sacrifice, empathy, sincerity, and faith are depicted, and it has gradually become one of the cultural and identity-building symbols of Shiism. "Arbain" literally means fortieth. The 20th day of the month of Safar is known as Arbaeen Hosseini, since it is the 40th day of the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari, who was one of the companions of the Messenger of God and loyal companions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him), came to visit Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) on the first Arbaeen after his martyrdom. Arbaeen is undoubtedly the commemoration of the revolution of Imam Hussain (AS). A revolution whose purpose was to fight against social injustice, oppression and ignorance of the people. During the time of Imam Hussain (a.s.), the bullies did everything to destroy the limits that distinguish right from wrong, and their goal was to redefine religious and social values according to their desire for the society of that time. But Imam Hussain (AS) stood in front of them and by sacrificing himself and his family for the revival of Islam, he did not allow them to succeed in their sinister plans. He firmly believed that life under tyranny is life in hell: "For me, death is nothing but happiness, and life under oppressors is nothing but life in hell."
